Vintage Capro 8mm Film Splicer Japan w/ Bali Splice Tape Editing Tool

Vintage Capro brand 8mm film splicer, made in Japan, designed for cutting, aligning, and patching 8mm film for home movie editing. Features a hinged metal frame with cutter, emulsion-down film guides, and an illustrated instructional plate showing the cut/pull/patch process step by step. A previous owner has hand-labeled it "Super 8 Only" in marker on the body — please see photos.

Includes a partial vintage packet of Bali brand 8mm splice tapes (Dupont Mylar) for use with the splicer, as pictured. Tapes show their age but appear unused. A great functional piece for anyone restoring or using vintage 8mm/Super 8 film equipment, or for film/camera collectors rounding out a display.
