This is a Japanese-made SA800 semi-acoustic guitar in walnut finish, manufactured in 1978 based on its serial number.
The pickups are made by Duncan, with a classic combination of a JB in the bridge and a Jazz in the neck position. The tuners have been replaced with locking tuners, and the bridge and tailpiece have also been changed to GOTOH parts.
There is some residue on the body top, which appears to be from a repaint.
Cracks are visible all around the binding, and it seems that areas that had peeled off were repaired and then roughly over-lacquered. Paint splatters from this repair remain on the top, and there are areas where attempts to wipe it off failed, resulting in a rough surface finish that is not very clean up close. Also, the binding on the treble side of the neck has been repaired by adding a patch, indicating a neck refinish. The added binding is pure white, so the color does not match in some areas.
Furthermore, there are scratches and dents throughout the guitar, giving it a dignified appearance.
