Decals: The
sheet contains decals for five United States Army Air Force (USAAF)
Curtiss P-40N Warhawk aircraft of the 49th Fighter Group (FG), four serving with 7th
Fighter Squadron (FS) and one serving with the 8th FS. Includes bureau
numbers in Yellow and a White set of bureau numbers on Blue horizontal bands for
the tail of the Lt Fenimore’s P-40, aircraft codes in White and Yellow, nose art in the form of White
“O’Rileys Daughter” titles over art work of a
kneeling nude below a bar containing various bottles on a Yellow-Orange splash,
two part Yellow and White “Squirrel Bate” titles, Black
“Rusty”
titles alongside a “skull” wearing a flying helmet over a scythe and
a Pink orchid for the nose of DeHaven’s P-40, Black square checks to be
placed on White painted rudder surfaces for Capt Vodra’s P-40 – click the link
below, Blue diamond checks to be placed on White painted rudder surfaces for Lt
Miller’s P-40, White bands to be placed on the Blue spinners of the 7th FS
P-40’s, a Yellow band to be placed on the White spinner of the 8th FS P-40, a small coat of arms on a White background (possibly the 7th FS unit
badge), for Lt Fenimore’s P-40, pilot names, Black ID bands
for the tail of the Lt Paris’s P-40, two part victory markings, pilot names,
Stars and Bars and Star roundels.
There are
sufficient decals to complete all five P-40 Warhawk aircraft from the
sheet. Lt Fenimore and Lt DeHaven P-40’s are both finished in Olive Drab uppers
over Neutral Grey lowers, with Blue and White banded spinner and White tail sections
and White leading edges. The 8th FS P-40 is finished in US Dark Green and Mid Stone uppers
over Azure Blue lowers with half White half Yellow spinner, a White tail
section and the Black checks on the rudder supplied as decals. Lt Paris’s P-40 is finished
in a camouflage of Dark Green and Dark Earth uppers over Neutral Grey lowers, with
a Blue and White banded spinner and a White tail section. Capt Blanton’s P-40
is finished in Olive Drab uppers over Neutral Grey lowers, with a White
tail section, White leading edges and Blue and White diamond checked rudder surfaces.

UK - GBP2.04. All overseas post is sent by International Standard Airmail as follows - Europe, including France, Germany and Eastern Europe - GBP5.24. The USA - GBP5.74 and the Rest of the World - GBP5.24. We can also provide combined shipping with decal sheets at 50p each for the UK, 60p per sheet for Europe and 70p per sheet for the Rest of the World including the United States and Australia. Customs charges may apply over which we have no control other than mitigate for them.
Please allow 5-10 days for delivery of the item once it has been paid for. We obtain proof of postage for all items shipped and cannot be held accountable for non-receipt once posted. If you require tracked postage for overseas shipping, additional costs will apply, please contact me.
