The EXFO FLS-600 Handheld Light Source is a rugged, versatile fiber-optic test instrument designed for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting applications. Available in laser or LED configurations with multiple wavelength options, it features automatic wavelength switching when used with compatible EXFO power meters, user-selectable favorite wavelengths for faster testing, and distant referencing capability with encrypted signal transmission.
FTTx-ready, it supports 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths recommended by ITU-T G.983.3 for PON testing. A backlit LCD and keypad provide easy operation in low-light environments, while its durable portable design makes it well suited for demanding field conditions.
