This is a pretty lunch menu card dated 28th January 1899. The text is hand-written and is in French. There is a name on the reverse of "Mon. A. Gagneux" - whether this was the person providing the food or the diner is not clear. The item measures 10.9cm x 8.9cm.
The menu is in a good plus condition. General edge and corner rubs, some light brown marks at left hand side of card, a little paper and glue residue along top edge on reverse - item came loose to me but may have been lightly mounted in the past, light browning and grubbiness and some light marks to reverse of card, some tiny paper residue and some very light grubbiness to front of card, the odd tiny bump to edges. Please check scans carefully as they help with condition too.
