It beautifully details ancient city locations, mountain ranges, and river paths, including Jerusalem, Damascus, Antioch, and the Euphrates River.
This map was produced circa 1848 after the work of the esteemed French geographer and cartographer Thunot Duvotenay (1796–1875). It stands as an excellent example of mid-19th-century classical historical cartography.
