Measures 72  inches (approx 1.85 meters long).  Embroidered in different materials, Silk, damask I think.. with little sign of use. The Stole or Stola is a liturgical vestment used primarily within the Catholic Church, and occasionally used by some Anglo-Catholic and Lutheran clergy. It is an embroidered band of silk or similar fabric that is hung over the priests shoulders during the Sacraments of the mass.
