Jinxter is a classic interactive fiction game developed by Magnetic Scrolls and published by Rainbird in 1987 for the Atari XL/XE series of home computers.  Known for its engaging story and complex puzzles, it also featured an innovative magic system and came with feelies—physical items like the 'Independent Guardian' newspaper seen here—that added to the immersive experience.  Jinxter tells the story of a man on a mission to save the fictional land of Aquitania from the looming threat of evil witches.  It is text based but has very good graphics for it's time.  The auction includes the (2) game disks in plastic sleeves complete with original Rainbird box in very good condition, The "Independent Guardian" newspaper, "Old Moose Bolter" coaster and contest, Staff Memo in envelope, several pages of player notes and maps, and Magnetic Scrolls Adventure Guide.
