Purchased new, directly by me around March & April,
2026.
I unsealed three of the sets and opened them up (for inspection) leaving one set fully sealed.
The three unsealed sets are as close to mint & new as can possibly be:
I played two of the LP's on some good equipment (THEY SOUNDED GREAT!) * once * but otherwise they're untouched:
the LP's, the sleeves, and all the content remain jet-minty fresh.
EXCEPT ... PLEASE NOTE!
FEB 28th, 1969 BOX :
HAS ONE LIGHT TEAR ALONG LOWER BOTTOM-BOX OUTER SEAM and
ONE TEAR ALONG THE TOP OF THE SAME BOTTOM-BOX SEAM
(& SEE PICS!)
And that TOP tear runs through for maybe 2 inches: It's not readily apparent from the outside at all - it just looks like a small split. But if you completely empty out the bottom container and held it up to a light, you'd see it:
I wasn't originally planning to sell these so I decided that * I * could happily live with it since chasing down all four was tough & expensive and the LP's are all super-minty; so it was overall fine by me.

The fourth night of the famed Fillmore West run that produced the
bulk of Live/Dead is an exceptional example--going back more than 54
years—as to why you never miss a Sunday show. Opening (!!) with what
would later be known as the Live/Dead suite, 3/2/69 demonstrates the
Dead had not only NOT run out of steam after three magnificent shows, in
many ways they surpassed the previous nights' wildly powerful music.
When your first set is the entire Live/Dead suite, what do you for a
second set? Simple! You play for more than an hour and half, making sure
everyone goes home way too late, but unimaginably happy. 5 LP's
After the first set's Dark Star>St. Stephen>The Eleven>Lovelight, the second set puts so much icing on the cake that it almost becomes a cake made of nothing but frosting: That's It For The Other One, Morning Dew, Alligator>Caution, and so much more.
We're thrilled to be completing the quartet of what is widely
considered one of the greatest runs in Grateful Dead history, mixed from
the 16-track master tapes by Jeffrey Norman, and mastered by Jeffrey
along with tape restoration by Plangent Processes.
