Up for sale is an authentic, original 1854 antique map titled "Map of France, Spain, Portugal & Italy" (which also includes an inset map of Greece and the Ionian Islands).

As shown in the detailed photos, this beautifully detailed map was engraved by J.H. Young and published by Samuel Augustus Mitchell for Mitchell's School Atlas. It features the striking, classic hand-colored borders typical of Mitchell's mid-19th-century publications.

Dimensions: The map measures approximately 8 by 10.5 inches (image area).

Presentation: It comes safely preserved, shrink-wrapped against a sturdy protective backing board—perfect for display or immediate gifting.

Important Note: As visible in the full overview photo, there is a $35 price sticker in the bottom left corner. Please note that this sticker is adhered entirely to the outside of the protective shrink wrap, NOT to the map itself. The antique map underneath remains unaffected.

This is a wonderful, genuine piece of 19th-century history that would look excellent framed in a home, office, or library.
