Being offered is a rare and exceptional handwrought circa 1965 married metals - brass, silver and copper - bowl by Los Castillo of Taxco, Mexico. Los Castillo, the silversmith who was known for conceiving the technique of married metals, producing eye-catching decorative objects. This handmade bowl is an excellent example, with the bowl featuring a silver starfish & an applied silver pearl; all resting on three ball feet. Dimensions are 8 inches long by 4 inches wide x 1 1/2 inches tall. No monogram. Marked as illustrated on the photo. In excellent condition.
