This autographed photograph along with several other early theatre photographs I am listing came from the estate of actors William J. Sully & his wife Nellie Germon who worked in Vaudeville, Burlesque and Minstrel theatre late 19th century to early 20th century era. He was from Boston and had Broadway New York acting credits. Nellie Germon who was one of the famous Germon family of actors. Her sister was Effie Germon who has a unique history involving John Wilkes Booth. I acquired a large lot of items and ephemera that had descended from William Sully including hand written lyrics and jokes by both Sully and Nellie Germon.
