Three colors possible!  Yellow, purple, and orange/red!!  (Actually, you can add VERY MINOR powder blue to this as a fourth color is did not count, due to its minor presence.  There is a tiny amount of diopside powder blue spotting fluorescence seen in Photo # 2 which is NOT easily visible to the eye.  There is no overall blue color.)

This fluorescent rock is from Franklin, NJ, and was collected years ago by Gerry McLoughlin and boasts good coverage of bright yellow Norbergite!  Some Norbergite barely fluoresces, but this piece is very bright with a good shortwave UV light.  The first two Photos are in Shortwave UV, and the second two are in Midwave UV.

Also shows very nice yellow Norbergite on a purple matrix with a powerful Midwave UV flashlight, and with the powerful Midwave or Longwave flashlight it will ALSO Flash Phosphoresce orange/red if the light is held closely and quickly swiped away!!!  The midwave matrix is more to the purple range than the photos imply.  The nice orange/red phosphorescence mentioned above is captured in Photo # 5.

This is a rock weighing 2.2 ounces (63 g), and measuring approximately 1.50 inches X 1.50 inches X 1.25 inches (3.6 cm X 3.6 cm X 3.0 cm).

As noted above, shown under SHORTWAVE UV in photos # 1 and 2.  This piece ALSO fluoresces a lavender under a strong Midwave UV flashlight (Photos # 3 and 4)) and will flash-phosphoresce in midwave or longwave as described above.  NOTE:  Any overall purple in the Shortwave UV Photos is way overstated, but IS similar to what you would see with a powerful MIDWAVE UV flashlight!
