Photographs form part of the description.A super 9 centimetre across and 115 gramme solid silver cigarette case of an engine turned design and with a gilded inner and 2 retaining straps.
The maker is Henry Clifford Davis of Birmingham and the year is 1917.
It has a gilded inner as per the photographs which is quite weary / stained in places. Possibly rejuvenatable but I'm not familiar with gilding so not for me!
The straps are quite good but not tight tight. The photographs should show them best.
There is a monogram on one side.
The hinging and locking are both perfect.
There are 2 low key dents on the monogram side and one to the underside which don't really show up on the pictures. Very minor.
24 photographs to peruse of this lovely vintage piece and a low starting price.
