This is an original 7" 45RPM, with original Collectables sleeve & recordings from 1973 & 1974! Fun Facts About This Record: The A-side was written by the band's drummer, Don Brewer, who drew inspiration from their experiences on the road - including late-night poker games with blues legend Freddie King! The A-side climbed to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on 9/29/73 - the 25th birthday of the lead guitarist & singer Mark Farner! There were no plans to record the B-side at all. Singer Mark Farner was simply singing it out loud in the studio hallways after listening to it on his car radio. The rest of the band heard him, started jamming along in a circle, and recorded it on the spot!
