In 1996, Mercedes introduced the ACTROS series in different versions. This vehicle is equipped with an M cab. Like all models in the CarMotion series, it has the following features:

- Charging and programming port
- Short charging times thanks to modern Li-Po batteries
- With one battery charge, during normal driving with waiting times and different speeds, a running time of approx. 4 – 6 hours, at a maximum speed of approx. 2 hours possible
- Easy to switch on/off using a reed contact under the roof of the driver's cab with a magnetic pin or telescopic magnetic rod item. 8410
- Infrared transmitter/receiver for distance control (only partially compatible with other IR systems)
- Realistic braking or Acceleration processes and configurable speed thanks to a speed-controlled motor
- Free loading area thanks to underfloor drive
- Cabin lighting
- Brake lights and reversing lights
- Right/left turn signals and hazard lights can be controlled
- Low beam / high beam
- Roof indicators (depending on vehicle type)
- Visible driver's cabin with figure
- 5-pin plug-in coupling for connecting CarMotion trailers or semi-trailers
- Compatible with existing systems with contact wire or magnetic tape
- Control via infrared signals, permanent magnets Art. 8431 in the street, electromagnetic stop coils and remote control Art. 8402
- Even without lane assistance, a short straight reversal is possible using the remote control
