• This artwrok was used for both the 1983 Donruss Hall of Fame Heroes Card Set that was inserted into 1983 Donruss Baseball Card packs.
• It was used again for the Series 2 1985 Great Moments Card Set. The Great Moments Original artwork was fashioned after the T3 Turkey Red cabinet cards of the 1911 and salutes the defining moments in the careers of Baseball Hall of Famers. This artwork is from the first series published in 1985.  Honus was in the first Baseball Hall of Fame Class and is still considered one of the greatest players of the 20th century.

The Painting comes with Honus Wagner ***** ORIGINAL SIGNATURE **** that is slabbed in a PSA/DNA case - only adding more value to this unbelievable painting.  It was such an important painting that Dick Perez included it in his art work book (The Immortals) that shows all of Dick's historical baseball paintings
