Description
The house of LIP has created a third exclusive model, in a limited and numbered edition, co-branded with the Grand Prix de France Historique to celebrate its third year as the Official Timekeeper. This season’s inspiration comes from the cyan blue run-off stripes that are iconic on the Circuit Paul Ricard.
This Rallye mecha-quartz chronograph measures time to 1/5 of a second up to 60 minutes, and features the official Grand Prix colors, with a timing scale arranged around the outer edge of the dial.
Produced in 1,906 pieces worldwide — in reference to the date of the first French Grand Prix — this model is a true heir to the racing chronographs used in historic automotive rallies.
The dial is distinguished by a white central section, which generously frames two blue subdials: a chronograph minute counter and a 24-hour counter, both linked at the center by a checkered flag, symbolizing the spirit of competition.
The 39 mm polished stainless steel case is fitted with a smooth black calf leather strap, perforated and accented with blue stitching. The chronograph comes in a dedicated presentation box, accompanied by a second vulcanized rubber strap, blue on top and black underneath. Both straps are equipped with a chrome pin buckle.
A must-have collector’s piece for automotive and watch enthusiasts alike, combining style, precision, and historic heritage.
