About 8" tall x 6" across the handle and spout.

DESCRIPTION

Beautiful lidded Japanese kutani teapot.  Floral and bird of paradise hand painted decorations.  Bamboo-form handle. Base marked with Japanese characters indicating kutani ware. Probably early post-Meiji Taisho period, 2nd quarter 20th century.

CONDITION

Overall excellent.  No chips, repairs, cracks or crazing (all visible in the images).  A LOVELY EARLY 20TH CENTURY JAPANESE TEAPOT IN MINT CONDITION!
