Really for just about any size. Silk satin charmeuse on the inside makes it slippery. Exposed pocket and flap outside makes it Yamamoto. The pocket is attached diagonally - using the straight of the grain to define its shape. That means the pocket can swing free at the bottom and sides.

Cut on the diagonal of the grain rather than the straight cross weave so it is a serious shape shifter. Usually in bias cloth, designers count on the shoulder to establish shape and had these been gathered, they would but instead the roundness obscures the shape. Unlike most clothing, bias cut looks great if you get a smaller size because the shoulders and boobs define the drape. Wearing a larger size, it can end up hanging like a sack. It continues to move when you walk (wider and shorter).

I long wondered if Mr. Yamamoto meant for the cloth between the neck and shoulder to be gathered up and set between the human's neck and shoulder so I have shown that too.

Impossible to measure accurately, but within a few inches, it’s

21” across at the top of the sleeve/shoulder, 25” across at the bottom of the armhole, 21 across the hem, cut straight. About 40” long neck to hem.

I provide all this information so that you can get it and love it, so I hope you read it. Please ask any questions – that helps you get a better idea of if it will work for you and helps me write better listings.

The sewing form measures 38-30-39, FYI.

I sell on eBay because I love the things I sell. And because I am weak and must have money to buy more. So please check your measurements and understand that I hope to avoid returns – tho I certainly will accept them for any reason. Unless I've made a mistake in the factual portion of the description – it does happen, I will ask you to share the shipping costs. I tend to avoid future relations with people who send things back worn or because they say not as described when they didn’t read the numbers.

Please keep in mind that eBay keeps up to 20 percent of each purchase for letting me – and you – use this wondrous platform. And that the post office doesn’t ship free for me or eBay; eBay promotes promising it because people think they’re getting a deal with ‘free shipping.’

I also shop here on eBay and try to behave like so many of the great sellers and buyers I've had the privilege and good luck to deal with.

Ask me anything!
