Fender 1965 Jaguar Sunburst
Description
1965 Fender Jaguar Sunburst
The plate serial number is L88395, indicating it was manufactured in 1965.
The neck date is 1JUN65B (June 1965), and the pot date is 137-6519 2 (1965). The volume and tone pots on the preset sound switch side are not visible but are believed to be original. The neck has pearloid dots and an Indian rosewood fingerboard.
The pickups are original gray bobbins. A sponge has been added under the pickups and is deteriorating, but it is still possible to adjust the height to some extent, so there are no current problems.
Replaced parts include the nut, frets, and bridge (changed to a Mustang bridge). The pickguard has shrunk and doesn't fit perfectly in some places, but it is currently securely attached. The body and neck have been adjusted using shims.
The greatest appeal is the edgy, clear sound characteristic of a Jaguar. The playing condition is also excellent, so please consider this opportunity. Gig bag and original tremolo arm are included.
We sincerely apologize, but due to the nature of the product, we are unable to arrange transfers to other Ishibashi Musical Instruments stores. Please contact Ishibashi Musical Instruments Shibuya store.
