Designed to fill the need for a solid bass voice in the trombone choir.  Note these features: 1).Large solid Sterling Silver 9" bell responds instantly, gives precise control, projects farther.  The sound is richer, "darker" with more overtones and the tone will not crack-ever. 2). Slide pull to E adds entire extended range, including low B·F tuning attachment, separate from E pull, tunes F to Bb section. 3). Linkage on the F rotor is made of teflon, insures smoother action, eliminates noise. 4). Cushion spring in the first position permits shortening of normal slide position.  --1965 King Catalog.

The trombone came to us in great condition.  The F rotor is new and operates smoothly.  The body of the trombone is in great shape and has no large or small scratches.  The lacquer is new baked on clear lacquer just like what the company used back in the day.  There is no corrosion or wear on the inner slides they are nearly perfect.  The slide operates smoothly in all positions and is superfast.  No deep scratches, or small dings that we can see.
