1972 Pontiac GTO Real deal GTO. See Vin # with "X" code, and pic of production numbers. X code on Vin tag and title come up 455 H.O. Engine code stamp on front of block is YX comes up 400. I know the previous 2 owners, can trace the history of this car back 20 years. Driver, not a garage queen, i put over 100 miles on it last holiday weekend with no issues. No drips, no leaks, no overheating. Runs and drives great, shifts great. Starts up first try, and sounds great. New brake master cylinder, and proportion valve, and new lines. Stops great, brand new tires on vintage 1970s chrome SS Cragers. This has not been restored, just body work cleaned up, touched up, and worst spots addressed. Not perfect, but a head turner. The newer paint is the major update the rest is still original down to the seats that could use recovered, the dash board with a few cracks. Does have very nice back seat. Fully restored this would be 60K+ my open bid price should have some bidders ready to jump, tons of potential for upgrades or ready to drive. Absolute blast to drive and head turner. Has bumps, bruises, nicks, dings, waves, wrinkles, scratches, cracks, touch ups and minor imperfections .Nice looking driver with amazing paint combo. Only chrome is the 1970s SS Cragars wheels. Beautiful bright white paint, pictures dont do it justice. Everything else black, back bumper, rear spoilers, all window trim, all door trim, GTO logos,  all door locks, Ram Air, grill, headlight bezel, vents - Amazing color combo.
Needs climate control replaced. No air or heat, or defrost. This has never worked since I owned it. I only drive in nice weather, haven't looked into repairs, or replacement parts. No radio. Driver side door panel and headliner could be replaced, both ok for what's left, but held in by screws. Door pulls and dash cracked. New carpet. The headlights, gas gauge (went to full) and turn signals went out out way home, while all taillights , and side marker lights come on and still working, but no headlights, so guessing i have a short in the ground. No windshield wipers or not working. Im making it sound bad, and reporting all issues so winner will love it.  Amazing car with tons of potential, or fill will premium and tear up some pavement right now.   The air filter top has been painted to match the the body, but nothing else has been done to engine bay, I will get it cleaned up a bit, shine up the valve covers and update  photos soon. I also found the original pontiac wheels with beauty rings and center caps, with a set of decent tires.
