Up for auction is a rare, original leather Maxim Fire Apparatus salesman photo binder of products offered by the company, circa 1950's.  The album consists of a flip photo binder having 8x10's of examples of trucks which they have manufactured, as well as commercial photos of the various components, pumps, chassis, and engines that make up the trucks.  Most of the trucks have their home department stenciled onto the sides of the trucks, and lots appear to be from the New England/East Coast states.  The book itself is complete, with no missing pages.  The horsehide leather cover has split at the fold of the spine; however, due to the method of manufacture, the covers are secure and not loose whatsoever.  Leather strap clasp is present and works as it should.  9 loose photographs, and 28 in the slotted holders.  There are five schematics in the album that are printed on regular paper which were not included in the photo count.  Size:  12" x 15".
