The BGWT22, produced in the USA, features an ash body and a roasted maple neck joined using a plateless 4-bolt neck joint.
Based on Greco's historic Bg. body shape, it incorporates a back cut for improved playability, and the radius of the edges on the top and back are different, with the back edge being more rounded than the top edge.
The fingerboard is made of pau ferro and has a 628mm scale length, generally considered a medium scale, with 22 medium jumbo frets.
The pickups are original T single-coil pickups. Controls include a master volume and master tone, and a 3-way pickup selector switch.
It also features a treble bleed circuit that maintains the same tone even when the volume is turned down.
It features locking tuners that minimize tuning instability and a string-through TL-style bridge.
The body color is metallic gray with a matching headstock.
The distinctive pickguard is 3-ply and black.
