Is IPL right for you?

IPL works by targeting melanin (pigment), so its effectiveness depends on the melanin levels in both the skin and hair. As a result, IPL may be less effective on lighter hair colors due to lower melanin levels, and it could pose safety concerns for darker skin tones, which absorb higher levels of energy due to their higher melanin content.
