Authentic antique German rotary-valve alto horn (tenorhorn) manufactured by Aug. Clemens Glier of Markneukirchen, Germany c.1890-1915.

The bell is engraved:

This instrument features a classic German rotary-valve design with three rotary valves operated by paddle keys. The compact wrap, upright bell, and approximately 6-inch bell diameter are consistent with late 19th- to early 20th-century German alto horns used in military bands, town bands, and brass ensembles throughout Europe.

Antique used condition. Instrument shows significant age-related wear including oxidation, tarnish, scratches, finish loss, and minor dents consistent with over 100 years of age. Original brass patina remains intact. All three rotary valves turn freely. No mouthpiece or case is included. Instrument has not been professionally serviced, cleaned, or tested for playability.
