The crystal opal in this parcel was mined by opal digger from Crystal Vally Mintabie very rare opal
Mintabie Crystal and Mintabie Black Crystal is well known as the best crystal opal in the world
Before Mintabie opal field was closed, when we mined this opal, Mintabie was supplying more opal to the world than all the opal fields in Australia put together.

Most stones in this parcel are straight out from the tumbler
Tumbling for days removes the sand but always dulls the face, making it harder to see the colour bars.
Altho the stone faces are dull colour still beams out from this parcel
( tumbling: softly rolling stones over each other for hrs in water to remove sand )
Cutting this parcel will return the buyer with lovely coloured opal for setting into jewellery
