There are some signs of age, use and wear. The leather cover is in good condition, almost as new if not for a few spots of light surface wear dotted about. Previous owner Initials stamped in gold gilt at the bottom right corner of the front cover. There is some occasional mild age/use related light page discolouration/creasing dotted throughout. All text is clearly legible. Overall contents binding appears strong, tight and complete. There is a previous owner inscription on the front first end paper, the ink has bled through the next few pages, stopping before the title page. The page edges are gold gilded, but are showing a few light scuffs/scratches from use. Three red ribbon markers are in good condition.

Overall remains in good reading condition, with as described clear signs of age, use and wear. The original cardboard slip case remains functional but is well worn.
