Marchione Guitars Classical Swiss Spruce Madagascar Rosewood

Description

Stephan Marchione, a renowned American master craftsman in all aspects of stringed instrument making, established his own workshop in Houston, Texas, in 2001 after working at Pensa Suhr, a company that has produced numerous famous builders. This particular instrument is a classic model crafted from rare woods that excel in both sound quality and aesthetics. It features a Swiss spruce top, Madagascar rosewood back and sides, wood binding, a wood rosette, and a French polish finish. The neck shape is slightly thinner than that of typical Spanish classic guitars, making it more accessible not only to pure classical guitarists but also to electric-acoustic guitarists. The body combines a Swiss spruce top and Madagascar rosewood back and sides, offering excellent strength and responsiveness. The French polish finish complements the guitar well, allowing you to experience Marchione's clear and focused sound, while also producing a Spanish flamenco-style attack depending on the player's touch. The guitar exhibits the characteristic, flawless sound projection regardless of where the fretboard is pressed, and the exquisite beauty of the tone decay, all hallmarks of his work. It demonstrates the incredibly high precision craftsmanship common to all his creations. While there are some very faint scratches and slight imperfections in the paintwork, it remains in excellent condition, and the neck is in superb shape. A hard case is included.
