Used 2013 Taylor 412ce
This particular guitar is a Grand Concert size, single-cutaway model.
The top is made of Sitka spruce, and the sides and back are made of Ovangkol. The body top has a gloss finish, and the sides and back have a satin finish.
The Ovangkol used for the body sides and back has a tone similar to Indian rosewood, characterized by bright treble. The nut width is approximately 44.5mm.
The condition shows several dents and scratches, mainly on the body top, and a few on the headstock and back of the neck, but there are no cracks. There are several areas of paint peeling on the body binding, some unevenness, and slight fret wear, mainly around the 1st and 7th frets, but there is still plenty of life left. Other than that, the neck condition is good with no significant warping. Currently, the neck height at the 12th fret is approximately 2.2mm on the 6th string side and approximately 1.7mm on the 1st string side.
This model, with its slightly smaller size, offers good balance and is recommended for a wide range of players, from moderate chord strumming to fingerstyle playing. It has been played moderately, has good resonance, good attack and volume, and produces a resonant sound with a light touch.
It is equipped with Taylor's proprietary Expression System 1 pickup, achieving a warm acoustic sound.
