In this auction offered is a base metal tie clip with pewter bar signed by Erik Fransson and decorated by Norse-style pictographs -  Viking long boat, man blowing a horn and a moon (or a sun).

My interpretation is that this is a sentinel raising alarm of a Viking raid, but this is just my take on it. 

Good vintage condition - no damage, fully functional - spring intact. Various ware on the clip and the bar consistent with use and age.
