This item is a vintage copper plated oil can featuring a unique rectangular shape.These cans were historically used for industrial purposes, such as oiling machinery or sewing machines.Some models were produced for Meccano sets or as accessories for Hornby O Gauge trains starting around 1928.

Spout twists off and inserts inside can to act as lid. I have 2 of these. This one has a dent in it, see photos.
