When working on a 50cc racing scooter and choosing a Dell'Orto PHVA or PHBN carburettor, the air filter is not a detail: it is the first link in the intake chain and directly affects the performance of the engine. The Red Filter E5 in code 04 7593.C0 is the version with black cap of the 38 mm Malossi horn, designed to adapt to PHVA and PHBN carburettors in sizes from 12 to 17.5 mm with 30° inclined mounting. The self-extinguishing expanded polyurethane filter element retains impurities without creating back pressure, while the lattice structure lightens the unit without sacrificing sturdiness.
