The new album is the continuation of the iconic counterpart Confessions on a Dance Floor. Ahead of the lead single, Madonna unveils the first taste of music with a trancelike visual teaser.

Madonna sums up her new record best by quoting the first few lines of her song, One Step Away, “People think that dance music is superficial, but they’ve got it all wrong.

The dance flooris not just a place, it’s a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language.” Madonna adds “When Stuart Price and I first started working on this record, this was our manifesto”: We must dance, celebrate, and pray with our bodies.
