The Automatic Band Decoder continuously monitors the band information from your transceiver and provides a separate output for each of the 16 supported bands.
By connecting an external antenna switch to the decoder outputs, the correct antenna can be selected automatically whenever you change bands.
The Band Decoder is primarily designed for:

Elecraft K3
SunSDR
Other equipment providing BCD band data at TTL voltage levels
It can also be used with other equipment that provides the same type of TTL-level BCD band coding, for example:
MicroHAM MK2R
Computer LPT port
Compatible auxiliary outputs from other station controllers
Many modern logging and contest programs can output the current band information through an LPT port or auxiliary interface. This makes it possible to use the decoder with transceivers such as Kenwood or ICOM, provided that your logging software supports the required band-control output.
Please refer to your transceiver and logging-software documentation for information about the appropriate interface and how to enable the antenna/band-control function.
The Band Decoder uses source-driver outputs that provide a DC voltage to the positive (“hot”) side of external relay coils.
The common side of the relays is connected to ground / the negative supply rail.
All antenna switches designed by me use this switching method. However, the decoder can also control many other relay boards and antenna switches using the same type of switching arrangement.
This makes the decoder a versatile solution for automatic antenna selection in amateur-radio stations.
