CSG 8580R5 SID Chip for Commodore 64 – Vintage Sound IC – Fully Working

One pin has been repaired. Despite this, it works perfectly, including all filters!

Original CSG Technology 8580R5 SID (Sound Interface Device) chip.

This is a genuine vintage SID sound chip used in later Commodore 64C. The 8580R5 is the improved successor to the 6581 SID, featuring cleaner audio output, reduced background noise, and operation at 9V, making it incompatible with older 12V SID boards without modification.

Highly sought after for repair, restoration, and retro audio projects, as well as by SID music enthusiasts and collectors.

I’m happy to offer combined shipping. If it doesn’t work for you for any reason, please feel free to contact me.

If you add multiple items to your cart and try to request combined shipping but it doesn’t work, the first thing to try is logging in to eBay.com and making the purchase from there, then requesting combined shipping from that site.

Regardless of this, if it still doesn’t work, I will always partially refund the shipping cost, and I’ll be happy to combine the shipping for you.

Due to the currently ongoing U.S. customs restrictions, unfortunately I have to ship to the United States at a higher cost. Thank you for your understand!
