Cut-away vs tear-away - choose right. On stretchy knits a tear-away tears off and leaves nothing to hold the stitches, so the design puckers. A cut-away stays behind the design for the life of the garment, anchoring the stitches so the logo or monogram keeps its shape wash after wash. For wovens you can remove, choose a tear-away instead.
How to use. Hoop the stabilizer larger than the opening with the knit fabric on top (add a layer for dense designs). After stitching, trim the excess close to the design with scissors. What stays is soft and flat and does not show through on the front.
