Scarce and highly collectible original first printing Eric Clapton promotional poster issued by Repirse/Warner Music in Japan in 1994 to promote the release of the From the Cradle album – Clapton's twelfth studio album, produced by Russ Titelman, and originally released in September 1994 on Duck Records. The album was a huge commercial success and reached #1 on the Billboard 200 in October 1994. It stayed on the charts for 41 weeks and was certified 3x Platinum in March 1995 by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for sales exceeding three million copies in the US alone. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 51.3 x 72.5 cm (approx. 20.2″ by 28.5" inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock.
