• The words are loosely translated as follows:
• “Old women together ,,, but not dead … They say the inhabitants of the town of Tultepec, at the holidays, appear in the streets like ghosts of the women who are also celebrating the holidays. Virgin of Guadalupe give them eternal rest, relax in peace. Thank you Little Virgin.”
• The tin sign measures 11-1/8 inches in height x just over 8 inches across.
• Colors are bold and bright.
• This is an original piece of artwork, bought from the artist's family in Mexico City.
• The piece of tin used is not rigid. There may be light and camera shadows showing in the photo of the back of the tin.
• Because this is a handmade piece of art on a piece of scrap metal and because of the type of art, the artist intended irregularities, uneven edges, slight bends in the tin, some rust, scratches and paint splotches.
