For sale one (1) Hummel figurine titled Stormy Weather featuring a boy and girl figure huddling under and umbrella. This is a vintage Hummel figurine. Sculpted by Reinhold Unger in 1937. Makers mark on the bottom indicates that this figurine was produced between 1957-1963. Adventures, come rain or shine. With their sturdy walking stick and a shared umbrella, these two brave children prove that not even a little wet weather can put a damper on a special day. In Stormy Weather (HUM 71), M.I. Hummel captures a moment of pure resilience and childhood companionship. Originally designed by Master Sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1937, this figurine was known for decades as Under One Roof. It has become one of the most iconic Hummel motifs in history, seeing various sizes and minor artistic refinements over the years. This particular version reflects the "classic" spirit of the original 1930s design, representing the timeless Hummel values of looking out for one another. This figure is in previously owned condition. There are no chips cracks or repairs on this figure. The umbrella has one mark along the upper left spine, not a chip, just a darker mark, possibly a hand painting mark.
