All you have to know is that Edith Wharton is the author of this book, and that makes it an item of special interest, at least as history is concerned, if you're in the home decorating field. I won't go into her career here, eBayers, Google her and her co-author if you're curious, it's worth a certain amount of diving into. Perhaps some of the info is relevant today, maybe some not, no expert here on this genre.

I can say that some are listed on this site and the prices for some are in the stratosphere; at least seems to me. I'm figuring to have a shot at getting this one gone I'm going to have to think out of that box and see what shakes in eBay land. See what y'all think, eBayers, I'm rooting for ya...

It emanated from a library at Bradford Academy a school founded here in Massachusetts in the very early 19th century; it's now defunct for many years.

It's in good condition. All text and images are entirely legible throughout. The pages are all very well attached to the body/spine area and will stay that way with proper care and handling. There's fraying to the covers, but not overly so. I can see the front cover sustained a bit of water/liquid soaking, but not a great amount and it affects nothing as to the readability. You can start with that upon arrival at your door. See the pics they tell the story.
