Antique amber art glass decanter, hand blown and decorated with fired white enamel in the Mary Gregory tradition, depicting a child blowing soap bubbles amid stylized botanical elements. The decoration is finely executed with dimensional enamel and remains crisp and well preserved.
The glass shows clear evidence of hand-finished construction, including a worked and polished base and a ground, flared rim, consistent with late 19th–early 20th century Continental glassmaking practices.
Under UV/black light, the glass exhibits a greenish-yellow fluorescence, consistent with manganese-decolorized glass, widely used in the late 1800s through the very early 1900s. This supports a circa 1885–1905 date range.
