YAMAHA FG-350
Description
Top: Spruce, Sides & Back: Coral Rosewood, Fingerboard & Bridge: Rosewood, Neck: Mahogany, Greco Tuners Replaced, Original Tortoiseshell Pickguard, X-Bracing
This Yamaha FG-350, a high-end model with a red label produced from 1969 to 1972, features a spruce top and coral rosewood sides and back. Compared to the FG-180, it has a more substantial, well-balanced, and luxurious feel! The tuners have been replaced with Greco Kluson-type tuners. A pickguard similar to a Hummingbird was previously attached, and traces are visible. The rosewood bridge is original and still present. This is a well-used instrument with pick scratches around the soundhole and some dents in places. There is no strap pin modification on the neck heel or pickup installation. The nut width is approximately 43mm, providing a slightly thick, solid grip. The neck angle is appropriate, and the truss rod functions without problems. The frets show some wear but are still perfectly usable. The string height is adjusted to be easy to play, at approximately 2.8mm on the 6th string side and 2.1mm on the 1st string side at the 12th fret. The saddle has little remaining life, but slight adjustment is possible. Although it's plywood, the body vibrates wonderfully, producing a rich, resonant sound! It has a dry, deep, and sweet tone, and playing it with your fingers is incredibly soothing! If you've been looking for one, please take this opportunity to try it! Includes original Yamaha hard case.
