The book measures 13cm x 19cm, 3cm thick.

There are a few minor signs of age, use and wear. The leather cover is in very good condition, very slight signs of handling, no wear, scratches or marks. Gilt title on spine remains bright. The hinges are strong, no splitting. The Presentation Page and Family Records pages remain blank and unfilled. No previous owner inscriptions, notes, highlighting or underlining. Majority of text block appears untouched. Some age toning of the blank end papers, and the last few pages of the Concise Readers Guide at the rear. A typical off white mild yellowing. One red ribbon page marker in as new condition, still tucked. Gilt page edges in good order, one small scuff noticeable on the fore edge. The original box remains functional, some light surface shelf wear, scratches and dents.

Overall the book remains in good reading condition, light signs of age and use, scarcely found in marbled crimson leather binding.
