Yuzu Vanilla Over Ice marks a genuine first in Nespresso's history — the very first coffee in the brand's range to feature yuzu, the iconic Japanese citrus fruit. Released as the centrepiece of Nespresso's Summer 2026 collection, it's a vibrant tribute to Japan — one of the three founding countries where Nespresso was first launched 40 years ago.
The blend itself is a light-roasted 100% Arabica designed specifically to be brewed over ice. Brewing onto ice releases the bright, zesty top notes of Japanese yuzu, balanced by warm sweet vanilla underneath. The cup is refreshing, cooling, and unmistakably summer — citrus brightness meets indulgent pastry notes for a flavour profile closer to a luxury cocktail than to traditional coffee.

When Nespresso launched in 1986, Japan was one of just three founding markets. Forty years on, the Summer 2026 collection — campaigned as Suntrack '86 — celebrates that heritage by introducing yuzu to coffee for the first time in the brand's history.
Yuzu is one of Japan's most prized ingredients: a wildly aromatic citrus, somewhere between grapefruit, mandarin and lime, used by Michelin-starred chefs around the world. Pairing it with vanilla and a light-roast Arabica was an unusual creative bet — and the result has quickly become one of the most talked-about Nespresso releases of the year.

Brew the 80ml Double Espresso shot directly over a generous glass of ice — that's when the yuzu unfolds, bright and zesty, with vanilla pastry sweetness rounding the finish. For a refreshing long drink: top up with cold water. For a creamy iced latte: add cold milk (dairy or oat). For a luxurious coffee cocktail: top with tonic water for a sophisticated yuzu-citrus highball.
