Vintage mid-century modern studio pottery table lamp by California Ceramic Designers, Inc., a California maker active during the 1950s–1960s known for hand-thrown stoneware lighting and organic modern ceramic forms.

The lamp features a beautifully sculptural rounded stoneware base with a speckled matte glaze over an iron-rich clay body, accented by darker textured bands at the top and base. Hand-incised linear decoration wraps the body, while the volcanic-textured neck adds depth and a distinctly handcrafted California studio pottery feel.

Paired with its woven natural fiber shade, the lamp has an exceptional warm, atmospheric presence that works beautifully in organic modern, MCM, boho, or earthy contemporary interiors.

The woven basketweave shade casts an especially soft ambient glow when illuminated, giving the piece a rich designer look both lit and unlit.
