The Loake Pimlico is a premium black leather Chukka boot, engineered for exceptional comfort and lasting durability. These boots feature sturdy Goodyear welted rubber studded soles, providing enhanced grip, excellent resilience, and superior longevity for all-weather wear. Built on the comfortable Capital last with a practical F fitting, the Pimlico offers a classic, secure fit. Designed and engineered in Kettering, England, and expertly handcrafted in Loake's English factory, this style perfectly blends traditional British shoemaking craftsmanship with robust, modern performance.
Loake factory seconds are imperfects, samples, discontinued, or a combination of all three. There may be blemishes, marks, scratches, creases, or uneven burnishing on the uppers, which will usually polish out. These cosmetic flaws are usually discreet and not immediately visible. Buckled shoes or belts may have marks on the buckle or discolouration to the metal. Leather-soled footwear may have marks and/or discolouration and will have a quality status stamp. In the case of all tie shoes, the tongue will have a discreetly placed punch hole to denote its quality status too.
Comes in non-original, imperfect Loake box without accessories and additional packaging.

North Shoes was founded in 1876 by William North, a bootmaker from Haconby, a small village just outside Bourne. It is believed that it was his wife Sarah who instigated the business. She saw the property for sale whilst visiting the market in Bourne and proposed they sell shoes as well as make them. Boots were made on the premises until 1914 when demand became too high for the 12 employed boot makers and boots had to be sourced elsewhere.
North Shoes, under the guidance of William North's great great grandson James, now has the original store in Bourne and another in Stamford. Despite the expansion of North Shoes, the ethos of the business remains the same, quality footwear with honest dedicated customer service for all. North Shoes prides itself on being a children’s fitting specialist with staff trained to the highest standards. It hosts a generous range of width fittings and brands, including Ricosta and Startrite, which has been part of the product range since the turn of the 20th century.
