About 9 1/2" high x 7 1/2" diameter.

DESCRIPTION

Distinctive black and white Bien Hoa design.  Vietnamese, probably from Southern Vietnam, 1930s or early 1940s.  Shows human figures interacting with animal figures, some mythological, some real, such as monkeys, water buffalo, etc. Lightly etched or engraved surface, giving it a slight relief decoration. 

CONDITION

Overall excellent.  No chips, dings or cracks.  Slightly darkened with age (visible in the images).  A WONDERFUL INDOCHINA VIETNAM VINTAGE VASE IN GREAT CONDITION!
