The lens zooms smoothly from approximately 35mm to 70mm, and the autofocus remains quick and responsive. However, the zoom becomes stuck when attempting to move from 35mm down to 24mm. This is likely caused by a loose internal flex cable, which is a known issue with early versions of this lens and should be repairable.

• Scratch on the front element
• Small crack on the distance scale window
